Pirohi Sales Return: October 10

Our pirohi sales will return on Friday, October 10 and will continue the second Friday of each month thereafter. We sell potato/cheese, sauer kraut, farmer’s cheese, and lekvar. $12.00 per dozen. Orders can be called in on the Thursday before the sale from 9:00 AM until noon at 724-375-6652. We think ours are the best! Come and taste!

Cross of Gratitude at St. George: September 16 -28

The cross of Gratitude is a 20-foot tall, 800-pound crucifix that was carved for the 2000^th anniversary of the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ in 2033. Its worldwide began journey 20 years ago and has been blessed by St. John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis. We are blessed to host this cross for the next 2 weeks!

On Saturday, October 4, there will be a day of Recollection for women at St. George Church including, Divine Liturgy, Continental breakfast, guest speaker, Akathist, and fellowship. Information is on the flyer on our Home and Event pages and below.

A MORNING RULE OF PRAYER

Upon awakening, stand before the holy icons, make the sign of the cross, and pray:

O God, be merciful to me a sinner. O God, cleanse me of my sins and have mercy on me. O Lord, forgive me; for I have sinned without number.

Through the prayers of our holy Fathers Lord Jesus Christ, our God, have mercy on us. Amen.

O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, You are everywhere present and fill all things. Treasury of Blessings and Giver of Life, come and dwell within us, cleanse us of all stain, and save our souls, O GraciousOne.
