Our next Pirohi sale will be on Friday, December 12. We sell potato/cheese, Sauer kraut, farmer’s cheese, and lekvar. $12.00 per dozen. Orders can be called in on the Thursday before the sale from 9:00 AM until noon at 724-375-6652. We think ours are the best! Come and taste!

St. Nicholas Party for the Christmas Season: December 6

Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 6 for our annual dinner celebrating the Christmas season with a St. Nicholas Dinner Celebration for parishioners and friends of St. George, St. Mary, and St. Nicholas parishes. Fr. Anthony will celebrate Vespers at 4:00 PM and Divine Liturgy at 5:00 PM, followed by the celebration in the church hall. Expect great food and fellowship as well as music & raffles and a visit from St. Nicholas. Plan to participate in our fun gift exchange by bringing a wrapped gift ($15 value). Everyone who brings a gift will leave with a gift and have fun playing a game along the way! The St. George Church Store will be open during the party for your Christmas shopping.

A MORNING RULE OF PRAYER

Upon awakening, stand before the holy icons, make the sign of the cross, and pray:

O God, be merciful to me a sinner. O God, cleanse me of my sins and have mercy on me. O Lord, forgive me; for I have sinned without number.

Through the prayers of our holy Fathers Lord Jesus Christ, our God, have mercy on us. Amen.

O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, You are everywhere present and fill all things. Treasury of Blessings and Giver of Life, come and dwell within us, cleanse us of all stain, and save our souls, O GraciousOne.
